One hundred years ago, when the audax was born, brevets were conducted
mostly on unpaved roads. Nowadays to create a logical and beautiful route
for Event with extended dirt road segments in Europe has become extremely
difficult. In Russia this possibility still remains, quarter of
Saint-Petersbourg-Onega-Ladoga 1200k brevet consists of unpaved roads.
This enabled:
to conduct the route through a unique location
to avoid roads with busy traffic
to start the brevet in St. Petersburg and to finish in its surroundings
At the same time we managed to preserve the best traditions of Vologda
- Onega - Ladoga brevet:
traveling along the banks of the two largest lakes in Europe;
enjoyment of the picturesque nature of the north-west Russia and the
monuments of Russian architecture;
quality support throughout the marathon;
detailed planning of the route.
